Description of Edelmann 80364 Power Steering Pressure

Original equipment equivalent and withstands internal oil temperatures of up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Highly resistant to oil, heat and ozone which cause ordinary assemblies to fail prematurely. Hose assemblies will withstand pulsation pressures up to 1,500 psi and bursting pressures up to 8,900 psi. Mounting Brackets, heat shields and convoluted sheathing to protect the hose are included where applicable. 14mm male inverted flare x 18mm male captive O-ring with switch port.

Smooth Steering Upgrade

My analysis of this new power steering pressure for automotive use was a smooth and positive experience .The installation was easy and the upgrade resulted in a noticeable difference in steering response and control. The only minor downside WAS a slightly higher price compared to other options. However, the quality and positive impact on performance make it worth the investment..

The first is defective. the second works.

The first one arrived broken. There was a large leak at the point where the metal hose attaches to the nutplate, enough to drain all the power steering fluid in seconds. I got a replacement and it works as expected. The PS pump is a little louder than before, but otherwise works. I give 3 stars for the inconvenience of replacing the hose.
