First, this device is much smaller than I thought. It's good! I am like many other reviewers. I live in a 3 bedroom duplex house with a wifi router on the top floor in the south front corner of the house. Update: This thing has practically stopped working since I wrote the review below. It still shows that it works well. This shows it's getting a good signal from my router. The lights blink the way they're supposed to blink. On my devices trying to connect they show good signal strength coming from the repeater. But when I connect to the extender, I lose the connection again within a few seconds. My devices keep connecting to and disconnecting from it. It has become useless. I was skeptical…

Thing works as advertised. A basic understanding of what you're dealing with will help you decide if this thing will work for you. I bought it because I had space in our bedroom with poor lighting. I bought this to try and extend my Wi-Fi coverage to a boat dock about 150 feet from our main home extend. The router is on the opposite side of the house and I couldn't get a signal through two walls and another 20 feet or so.
