The wire is thick and strong, a definite improvement over what we installed. It is easily processed, the blue color is striking, but does not cause disgust.

This wire was terrible. The outer shell is very thick as stated. However, the wire inside breaks very easily. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're comfortable fixing a broken wire.

I just wanted something other than yellow so it would be easy to identify by the broken previous yellow wire. The previous wire was smaller. Thats much better. It's easy to walk on and I didn't have to be that careful digging it. Works perfectly!

This image compares this wire to the wire that came with the PetSafe Ground Fence. This is a huge upgrade and I'm glad I did it. Burying 500 feet of wire is no joke, and reducing the likelihood of wire breaks easily justifies the expense.

Good price as it was a better price than some of the well known branded wires. The case on this one was very thick and looks like it will be solid. I used a solid blade electric edger to replace the wire for my existing system and was able to finish my 1/4 acre front yard in a few hours.

The dealer installed wire was smaller and stranded (green/black). You will also notice that the stranded wire is not copper. The new wire has a thicker coating, solid and copper. If you need flexible wire, use stranded wire. But if you want the wire to last, use a solid one. There's a reason all the wiring they use in your home is built to last.
