Works well when it works

Works well when it works. From time to time the lags increase from 45 to 85 and sometimes up to 120. I thought my computer was stable. Random Bsod. Random game exit. Then I got an occasional black screen and I had to reboot to find out the LED on the PCI card was off and I had to shut down the computer, unplug the PCI card, plug it back in and boot. I'm not sure if the problem is with the driver or with the card itself. There are different and there are no problems. On random downloads the map…

Avoid this product.

I bought this wireless card because it was the cheapest and I was too lazy to run CAT network cables. Out of the box it didn't work at all, so of course I tried installing the drivers. The map came with a CD but I don't have a CD drive because it's 2019. I've tried finding drivers online and their website is just terrible. Since I couldn't find the right drivers online, I tried using Windows device drivers. It worked for a short time but my internet dropped every few seconds. Honestly not worth

Slower than alternatives

card worked once inserted. Unfortunately, the speed was much slower than the two different AC600 USB adapters I've used before. I was hoping for a better PCI connection and a higher AC rating. I tried different configurations with just my router, repeater and access point. The connection was interrupted. I tried reinstalling the driver that was causing the OS incompatibility message, even though the box says it's compatible with Windows 10. I went back and bought an AC1900 USB adapter which is…

Took an hour, poor design.

I installed this on a windows 10 computer to avoid running ethernet cables the length of my small 2 bedroom apartment. I found the official drivers online and installed them before installing. It worked well for the first hour and then quickly dropped in performance. Before I permanently removed the card, I had a ping time of over 200ms on a connection that gave another wireless device 8ms. Throughput was terrible, around 10Mbps, again over a connection that could deliver 80Mbps to another…

Unreliable Best Computer and Accessories

Worked well for a while - slightly slower than promised as per other reviews. After three months of use, my connection is extremely erratic. Appears to run at normal speed for 30 seconds, then hangs until the adapter resets, assuming it doesn't shut down on its own. Signal strength is strong, but speeds are always off the mark. Connection should be great on 5GHz, but it refuses to connect on frequency. At the moment the card is practically unusable and expensive. I almost wish it had broke at…

Good. Until you use it.

I was looking at this wireless network adapter because my home router is across the house and a wired connection isn't an option or if I'm using an ethernet outlet I'm only getting speed for low bandwidth operations like VoIP or Facebook. Now let's get to this product! Now that it is easy to install and run with Windows 10 Pro generic drivers and runs smoothly under light traffic load, this is where the good and hours of frustration begins. I have made many downloads with this network card of…
