Seamless integration with Windows 10 - screw in antenna.

Fully integrated with Windows 10 - screw in the antenna, plug it into USB and give Windows about 30 seconds to say "Hey!" Now I can see wirelessly! and then follow the normal steps to set up your wireless network. The easiest install I've ever done. I want to test if this can give me improved gain over the pre-installed wireless devices on my laptops, but I don't want to remove it from the desktop I have it installed on. Oh, and the speed is enough to make it a viable alternative for hooking up

Contains malware

I was surprised that this product didn't work as well as advertised, given that it was Revain's choice. Installation went smoothly using the minidisk that came with it, and when I plugged in the wireless receiver, I successfully connected to the network. My first complaint was that the speed was terrible. My router sends a 70-80 Mbps signal to my other devices. This new Wi-Fi adapter didn't get more than 15-20Mbps. Disappointingly slow. The worst part of this experience was all the malware that

With a little effort I got it working on Linux with kernel version 4.4.0

After some trouble, it works fine on Ubuntu 16.04 with Linux 4.4.0 kernel. They don't officially support this kernel, but I was able to find a driver on GitHub for a device that does. I'm giving 4 stars because it's difficult to find a solution to support the new kernel. The company really should update their own drivers. Exactly what I was looking for

I am very satisfied with this wireless adapter. I chose this one because Revain had the highest rating at the time of purchase. Installation was easy and my download and upload speeds almost tripled. My desktop PC had an internal WiFi adapter connected to an 8 year old motherboard. The adapter didn't support 5GHz or newer encryption technologies and I was having trouble connecting to my Comcast wireless gateway at home. My download speed was 28 Mbps and my upload speed was 5.
