Added strengh to your grip

My second pair, works great when needing to trim medium size branches.I have hands on the small size with limited grip strengh with the ratchet part helping my grip strengh I have no problem cleaning up trees.

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • Limited reach - the size and shape of the Toolman Ratchet Secateurs Anvil Pruners may make it difficult to reach certain areas of your garden, particularly if you have large or overgrown plants

anvil pruners best in my review

Bought these for my mother to use. She doesn't have the hand strength to cut larger branches the ratcheting actin helps a lot. She likes them a lot. I would recommend if you do a lot of pruning safe stress on hands.

Pros
  • Exactly what I expected, happy with my purchase.
Cons
  • Grip is not comfortable. Get what you pay for.

Great price, sharp, and does the job.

Great price, sharp, and does the job.The only negative, and maybe it is a 'safety' feature, but after cutting a larger branch, the tool seems to auto lock. Gets annoying to have to unlock it after most cuts.

Pros
  • Classic
Cons
  • Ratchet mechanism can be fragile - while the ratchet system can be helpful in reducing the effort required to cut through thicker branches, it can also be prone to breaking under heavy use

EASY TO USE.No stress on your hands.very Sharp & Durable yet Lightweight & has an East To Use Safety Lock for for carry & storage.BEST small Limb Trimmer I have found for the money

Pros
  • Ergonomic designed grip with ratchet mechanism for easier cutting efciency. For easy pruning in simple steps.
Cons
  • Not ideal for left-handed users - the grip and blade orientation on these anvil pruners are designed for right-handed use, which may make them difficult or uncomfortable to use for left-handed gardeners

Nice clippers - my new review

Nice smooth ratcheting cut. Not as good as others I have owned but better than most. Had no trouble cutting thicker sticks.

Pros
  • 7.4 ounces
Cons
  • Not suitable for heavy-duty pruning - the Toolman Ratchet Secateurs Anvil Pruners are best suited for light trimming and delicate plants, but may struggle with thicker branches and tougher foliage

VERY GOOD AND MUCH BETTER THAN EXPENSIVE PLASTIC PRUNERS

Well worth the money. Worked well powering through various size dead Leyland Cypress branches. Most at least 3/4" diameter. Some even more. 1"! How, just open wide set it and 1/4 turn CW & CCW around branch as you squeeze and click. Work it slow and you'll get a clean cut! This blows away any expensive ratcheting anvil pruners that are mostly made out of plastic.like Fiskars for example, I have had several from this "top brand" and is total junk made with plastic handles and about 1/4" of…

Pros
  • Gardening & Lawn Care
Cons
  • Difficulty opening and closing. Not what I expected.
