As with most of the reviews here, my so-called "primed" paint was chipped and peeling. The plastic is too slick for a cheap primer they put on it. You'll have to pretty much remove their jerky core work and spend your time buying a good quality plastic primer and re-priming them yourself. Blue.

My electrician advised me to buy one of these when he was looking to hang my new kitchen lamp and realized my old lamp had been smudged during a ceiling renovation many years ago. It was the perfect size to cover the torn edges of the plaster and my electrician said the piece was just the thickness he needed.

The product is initially listed as gray in the advertisement. The one I received was white. I was ready to paint it but the white color goes very well with my ceiling so it suits me. This simple profile doesn't distract from the attachment and pairs well (for us) with our crown bar.

I installed it at the same time as a new (pendulum) mount to fix plastering problems around the box when replacing the box in the ceiling. It is located on the back stairs, 10-12 feet off the ground or stairs. I didn't even attach it to the ceiling. I also did not paint or paint. It's held up by just one light and looks great.

Our home was built in 1966 and has stunning 9 inch square recessed lighting. But we really wish we had a ceiling fan in our bedroom. Well yes I have. menopause, you know? This locket was the easiest I could find. Most were too ornate. My master pointed out urethane and said it was easy to work with.
