LOVE THE GRIP on allen wrenches

My hands have been through hell with allen wrenches for years. I wish I had opened THIS guy a few years ago. GRIP IS GREAT. Makes it so easy to use.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Great for adjusting truss rod

Purchased as a truss rod wrench for an early 80's jazz bass. The nut for the shank had somehow snapped off, this wrench had a coating on the tip that helped it shrink. Worked like clockwork, no bending issues.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Useless features

Went like clockwork!

I needed this item to repair my cooker hood and it worked great! I received the key very quickly and used it the same day. He managed to break a very tight set screw on the hood impeller. I definitely recommend this item.

Good Not Great - Hand Tool

Used to adjust the truss rod on my 1970's Fender USA electric guitar. Works well but the only problem is that the handle design flexes when you adjust something so you don't get a good feel for your work. If I had to do it again I would buy something with a firm grip that wouldn't flex.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Obsolete Model

Works, but too flexible.

Ordered truss rod adjustment on my US Strat. The wrench is long enough and shaped enough for comfortable use, but the grip gives way too much. It's too flexible. Although for $2 will be enough. If you want something for your bank that will last a long time I would suggest buying something else.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • No machine

Nice sturdy little tool

I needed this to remove the fans from my ventahood. I was able to manage a significant amount of torque when working to loosen the set screws on the fans. In general, everything turned out great, and the price is even better. This little tool will motivate you to clean those fans more often!

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Fits

Ideal for adjusting Fender truss rods

Purchased to adjust guitars. The length is ideal for cleaning pegs and string trees. No better if you have a frozen truss rod. The length then counteracts this by twisting and absorbing some of the torque. But on the anchor rod in good condition - excellent!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Only available in black

Can't beat the price

90% of the time it's the only size I use at work (1/8") for set screws on the motor shaft rather than everything Having the time to carry a full set with me, I decided to buy a long 1/8" rod to cover most of my needs and keep the full set in the truck. I couldn't believe the price, I can't buy it 3-4 times more expensive. Very satisfied, will buy more if necessary.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Too weak for tight screw

Bought a year ago after needing it for annual cleaning. This year I'm trying to unscrew the fan with it as I need the length to reach the screw head. Just too weak to loosen the screw. The handle turned 45 degrees, but the screw still didn't move. Small note: My label says Made in USA. Revain Tech Details says China. I would assume the product label is correct.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

Solid product but too thin/weak for some applications

It was too thin and flimsy for what I needed. It bent and I was really afraid it might break, instead it just broke, almost tearing the part off and making a loud noise without tightening what I was trying to tighten. I'm sure it's good for many uses, but I would stay away from heavy use. If it was a little thicker it would be great, I think it was too thin. Do I need a thicker one or do I just have to use an impact wrench?

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Dear
