Difficult to describe as I used Chi Rocket many years ago. But this hair dryer is powerful and doesn't dry my hair as fast as my old Rocket but doesn't leave my hair as brittle as other hair dryers. who cook your hair until you split ends. Surprised that a $200 item arrived in such poor condition. I knew something was wrong as soon as I opened the box - usually you have to unwrap those pesky plastic/foam mounts that manufacturers wrap around each item and there weren't any.
