Buy another brand in Security & Surveillance

**UPDATE** Now won't turn on or charge at all. I won't lie, for a month of inactivity this thing was cool. I've used it many times and it's saved my ass on several jobs. I was going to buy a more expensive one and just wanted it to date. Today I charged it for the second time, to date it has had excellent battery life. I plugged it in to start charging, with the included charger I heard pops and smoke coming out. Now it still turns on but keeps thinking it's charging. I guess I'll look into…

Works intermittently - the price is more than the performance and I bought these devices

I have purchased several of these testers which appear to be made by the same company. From the lowest price to over $600 they all seem to share the same 9800 or 8500 main processor. They all seem to lose cameras in multi-view and any attempt to start multi-view after that crashes and returns to the main menu . Very disappointed, very misleading description

Hopefully Revain can fix that. 2 different products should not be on the same page if there is a difference in functionality. I chose $259.00 over the cheaper 5" because I thought it would work with both analog and IP cameras. A bit confused as I also based my purchase on reviews and Q&A I didn't know they referred to other items/options on the same page, I would understand if it's a difference in color, size or other physical characteristics of the product, but not in terms of features please.

If it works, it's good (not great)

This is my second phone to die in a month. Not worth the money or time, especially if you rely on it to get the job done. The factory setting is configured for no reason. Half of the apps don't work properly and there is no way to download any of them. Basically he accepts it as it is and deals with it.
