I wasn't impressed at first. It wasn't working well, behaving like a bad connection, starting and stopping all the time. I happened to throw away an old router with a 12V power supply. I transferred that power supply to this product and it's been running like clockwork ever since. I no longer have speed control, but I don't mind losing this feature. I'm glad the quality issue was limited to the power adapter only, which was easy to replace.
