Worked for about 5 minutes

The thing worked for 5 minutes then went out and now barely lights up. The only good thing I can say about it is that the connector plugs straight into my e-bike controller's headlight output. But the cable is very short, barely reaching the controller that I have on the rear wheel. The jet was small too, it didn't last long; My rechargeable flashlight has much better lighting. Another annoying thing is that the button on the light isn't just physical - I have to turn on the light on the bikeโ€ฆ

Light and solid. about cycling

I have a German city bike that I bought abroad 15 years ago that has a hub alternator, but the built-in halogen bulb never seemed bright enough. It draws just under 3 watts and while it's significantly heavier than the plastic it replaced, it has a nice powerful beam and the reflector design directs the light where you need it. It flickers a bit at the lowest speeds, but stabilizes once you slow down from walking pace. The hardware appears to be rust free. Good light when weight is not anโ€ฆ

A few problems but I was able to get it working fine

The light it emits is good but I had to solve two problems. Installing the light was a pain at first. It doesn't come with mounting hardware, so I bought the screw from Home Depot. It must be mounted very securely so that it does not dangle or cause excessive vibration. Using a large bolt with matching washers and lock washers and tightening with a socket wrench worked well. The second issue I had was that the on/off button didn't work on what I got. However, this wasn't a problem for me as Iโ€ฆ
