Electric Infrared Oscillating Portable Protection Review

I threw this heater in the trash. It generates heat, but the front grille was hot enough to create a fire hazard. It's advertised as a table top, but the instructions specifically state that it can be used on the floor. Anything that is even slightly flammable will surely catch fire. I barely turned it on and the front end was dangerously hot! cute but scary!

I bought this little guy as a backup in my retractable RV. It works great! I had no idea that such a small heater could heat so much. It's compact, lightweight, and fits on my small desk in a pop-up box. I was able to install it and get started. It turns on and off automatically to adjust the heat in the room as needed, which is very convenient. With 19 degrees weather in the mountains, that was a real salvation!

I bought the first one and it had great heating performance within two weeks, however after about 18 days of purchase it stopped heating but was still fluctuating. Exchange for another. On the day of arrival I took it out of the box, put it in my pocket and after 45 minutes it was warm, but I didn't hesitate. I suspect it's another trip to the UPS store to return and request a refund instead of a replacement. Two faulty ones is too many for me to trust the product again.

My old Vernado was about to retire and I was looking for a smaller alternative. After reading the reviews I decided on this model. It's compact, easy to use, has an auto shut-off feature, and is well built. It doesn't turn off my circuit, radiates at least 2-3 feet of heat, and perfectly warms a small to medium sized bedroom. This is a very good heater for the price. Good warmth, very good for a small place to keep warm this winter. I bought this as an experiment to keep my small greenhouse warm all winter so I can store my greenhouse in a tanning bed. It does its job well, read the guide on how to set up the automatic function. Looking at the reviews they all show a tiny foot warmer which is what I was expecting. This is a pretty decent infrared heater that has worked well so far. It seemed dubious to me that upon arrival I looked for the model on the box and found that this particular model was sold on three different listings, one of which was $25 which sounds about as much as this thing seems cheap , even though I paid $90. On first use, the heater began to emit smoke from the burning plastic on the top of the unit, which is an uncertain defect. I had to turn the heating outside to prevent additional smoke from entering my home. Upon further investigation, it was found that plastic shavings from the vent holes at the top of the device had been poorly drilled into each of the recessed rectangular inserts, causing the plastic shavings to land on top of the upper metal heat shield.
