There are two pumps for one truck model

Chevrolet in its infinite wisdom has two pumps for one truck. One has one electrical connector and the other has two. Both fit 4.8 Silverado. The only way to know what you have is to pull out the old one first. This is a shit shoot. Big waste of time.

Installed December 14-17, the truck ran high fuel consumption, became a happy person

Installed December 14-17, the truck ran high fuel consumption, was a happy person . He died on 3-9-18! Not 2000 miles, not 12 weeks, not a happy person. Throw in the cash for Delco or Delphi, or become a professional fuel pump replacement specialist! boo! Boa nonsense! 1 star for fast shipping.

Amazing in every way

Not exactly the right fit for my truck because my tank was smaller but what was amazing was the pump was spring loaded so it could be adjusted. The coolest design I've ever seen. The pump was so quiet I even had to disconnect the hose to make sure it was working. Great job guys. Oh, and let's not forget the very fast shipping.

Make sure you know how many plugs are on the top of your existing pump

It was the wrong plug and by the time I contacted my mechanic to install it the return window had closed. So I'm stuck with that I guess. I needed 2 plugs, this one only has one on top. So if you're buying a fuel pump for your Silverado truck, make sure you have it before you order. This one said it would fit my truck and I guess it will, you just can't plug it in, that's it. :)

Reviews of expensive fuel injection pumps are the same as this one!

My mechanic delivered this fuel pump within 30 minutes. No problem. I have to give this item a 5 star rating and hope it lasts. The price seems intimidating (super cheap), but the first week is a dream. No more manually injecting gas into my air intake every morning. Now I can see how much gas I have instead of looking at the odometer and filling up after 400 miles. As others have said I will update my review if/when something breaks but this pump saved me tons of money just when I needed it…

Everything was fine with my pump but the fuel level sensor was not working

Bought this fuel pump 3 months ago. Installed yesterday. My pump was fine but my gas sensor was not working. After installing this pump, my gas sensor was working but not fueling the engine. Withdrawn and the pump turned on, the pump is defective, but the warranty only covers the workmanship, not the pump from what I've read. It's cheap and worth the risk. I'm not sure how many more of these I'll make, but. There are a lot of bad reviews on here, but I put the same pump in my cousin's truck and
