I bought this product a month ago and it broke and I can't return it to Revain. Now I have to pay the mechanic again to replace it. It does not load. With the car running the voltage is 12.5v. I wish I could listen and take advantage of the Auto Zone lifetime warranty. Now I have to take it off and send it back.

Excellent delivery time. Installation was fairly easy as only two bolts had to be removed and the other two unscrewed just enough to allow the old alternator to slide off and the new one to fit. The connections were the same as my Ford. The car started immediately, the alternator put out 14.4 volts, as they said.

I only installed it 4 days ago so will update the reliability info in the future. This alternator was a perfect fit and was exactly the same as the OEM one I removed from my 2003 Ford Expedition 5.4L. So far it has worked flawlessly and loaded great. This is the 135 amp version which I preferred over the 110 amp version.

This replacement is identical to the original. At the moment the generator has been installed for about a month. Everything seems to be working fine. The only drawback are the plastic bearing caps. They arrived brittle and cracked, so they are probed before installation. I'm not sure how important they are, but I suspect they help keep dust and dirt out for longer life.

Trash can. A few weeks after installation, my positive battery cable melted and the truck stalled while driving on the freeway. I changed the battery cable, drove to the nearest AutoZone, they checked the alternator and the voltage regulator is putting out about 5x the voltage. And imagine it's been over a month since I found out the problem and it's too late to go back to Revain. This was supposed to have a 1 year warranty, I haven't heard from the seller about a replacement.

It arrived and was obviously brand new. It looked great. Plugged it in and it just doesn't work. (By the way, they're not that hard to install.) I went to a Ford dealership and paid more than double for a hideous looking "reconditioned" one, but at least this one worked. I hope you have luck with this. I am giving it three stars because they received the RMA quickly and refunded my money and because it really looked like a quality product. Maybe it was just a bad diode or something.

That was the last piece of my puzzle. My Expedition is a pristine 2003 Eddie Bauer with a TV/DVD combo. I haven't driven a truck in months since replacing the timing chain, water pump and coils.
