Characteristics of the ABS-Like Resin

The ABS-Like Resin offers a range of characteristics that make it an excellent choice for additive manufacturing products in the field of 3D printing. This resin is specifically designed to reduce volume shrinkage during the photocuring process, ensuring high precision in the printed models. It is an ideal choice for resin prints that require resistance to strain and stress. Additionally, the ABS-Like Resin exhibits fast curing capabilities and excellent fluidity, making it suitable for rapid prototyping and reducing the overall forming time. One notable feature of this resin is its ultra-low odor, making it more comfortable for home use or in environments where strong odors are undesirable.

Similar Products in the Market

While the ABS-Like Resin offers unique characteristics, there are other similar products available in the market. These include various photopolymer resins designed for LCD 3D printers that offer comparable features such as reduced shrinkage, high precision, and resistance to strain and stress. It's important to explore different options and consider specific requirements to choose the most suitable resin for a particular project. However, the ABS-Like Resin stands out with its fast curing capabilities and excellent fluidity, providing a smooth and efficient printing experience.

Solving Common Problems in 3D Printing

The ABS-Like Resin addresses common issues encountered in 3D printing processes. One such problem is volume shrinkage during the photocuring process, which can lead to a loss of precision in the printed models. By reducing shrinkage, this resin ensures that the final output maintains a high level of accuracy and detail. Additionally, the resistance to strain and stress provided by the ABS-Like Resin makes it suitable for creating durable and functional prints. Whether it's for prototyping or producing end-use parts, this resin helps overcome challenges associated with material strength and stability.

Important Parameters to Consider

When working with the ABS-Like Resin or similar products, several important parameters should be taken into account. These parameters include exposure time to the UV light source, layer thickness, and post-processing requirements. The appropriate exposure time ensures proper curing of the resin, while layer thickness affects the overall resolution and printing speed. Additionally, post-processing steps such as rinsing the printed models and curing them further can improve the final results. Understanding and optimizing these parameters will contribute to achieving the desired outcomes and maximizing the performance of the resin.

Wide Range of Applications

[ABS-Like Resin] ABS-like resin is designed for reducing volume shrinkage during the photocuring process, thereby ensuring high precision of printed model. It is ideal choice for any resin prints that require resistance to strain and stress. [Fast Curing & Excellent Fluidity] The UV resin can be rapid prototyping, developed to reduce the forming time with its excellent fluidity. Make you have a smooth and efficient printing experience. [Lower Odor and Quality Materials] This resin is specially designed for 3D printers with ultra-low odor. Optimizes the user's experience during the printing process. [Pure and Vivid Colors] This 3D resin contains high-quality pigments, which makes the printed works show pure and stunning color effect just like an artwork. [Wide Applicability] Widely compatible with LCD DLP 3D printers. Apply to DIY, jewelry design, engineering model etc.

Worst resin I have ever used. Is always. It's absolutely awful.

I mainly use Siraya Fast. I've never had a problem with it. But I ran out and this Elegoo resin was Prime the next day, so I grabbed it like a lab monkey grabbing a pellet and it went into a painful shock. Again. And just like the last time I bought this junk, I mostly have print failures. I've printed these wheels many, many, many times with a different resin. Flat as shown (geometry just doesn't work at an angle), the exact same CTB file prints perfectly over and over again with Siraya resin.

Pros
  • Low odor and high quality materials
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Good resin. worth a try

I'm a professional 3D printer and I use a lot of different resins. I think I've tried them all and a lot depends on the person using the printer, not the printer. I mean everyone has their own routine and everyone does things differently which can make huge differences in results. The trick is to find the resin that works best for your personal technique. I say this because I use other resins, but this one always seems to work best for me. I print small figures and the detail is good and theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Fast curing and excellent flow
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Good prints that don't warp too much

This is my first experience with ABS-like resins and I'm very impressed so far. After calibrating with Anycubic's RERF file, I started printing my regular materials. I don't print a lot of bells and whistles and had a big learning curve with resin printers (from FDM). My recent stress test was a long, flat piece that I printed out. It should be perfectly flat even though it's almost 9 inches long. This ABS is truly the flattest and least deformable polymer I have ever used. To be clear, itโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Broad applicability
Cons
  • No automatic printing
