Too small for full size parts. The power adapter didn't work.

I got this unit a few months ago but I didn't try it until recently. When I tried to use it, I found that the power supply didn't work at all. I replaced the PSU with one I had on hand (I'm into electronics so I have many types of PSUs available) and after that it worked fine. But that's not the case. I have a Mars resin printer so the printable area isn't as large as the Saturn model, but this curing station is still too small for full size prints. UV light only comes from the side. I expected

Pros
  • Clear window
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Arrived damaged. Dodgy DC port. Would still buy again. beautiful.

Let's face it, if you look at this, most UV curing chambers are more expensive than the printer you're using. Another option is to do it yourself, which I did. But my god, my sterilite jar was ugly compared to all my other tech toys and it took me a while to put it together. For the price I paid ($59.99) it looks basic. Unfortunately mine arrived with a loose little plexiglass window and mixed double sided adhesive. I attached it with glue but it didn't make the best first impression. I see…

Pros
  • Reflective foil
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Cardboard Box vs. Metal Camera: The endless photon battle begins!

I was curious if the $75 Mercury (over $80 after tax) might offer any significant advantages over my current home made curing chamber, which is made of foil, UV 60W bulbs for 25 dollars and an old shabby box. The lamp has been delivered. Mercury should win, not a contest, right? Spring. [WHAT'S IN THE BOX?] Injection molded base. Power adapter. The plastic window is glued to the cylinder with adhesive tape, there is a rigid reflective film inside, two UV LED strips are fixed opposite each other

Pros
  • Lightly powered turntable
Cons
  • No car
