They look great on the first ride but the color is washed out; yes water! Painted the frame of the bike red. They quickly look worn and discolored. Functionally, they work perfectly.

The pain goes like crazy after getting wet. Looks very ugly and faded and the paint is dripping on the bike and water bottle. Luckily that happened with my cheaper aluminum bike, I would be really pissed if that happened with my carbon bike.

Very handsome; easy to install. I was hoping for a snugger fit for smaller bottles (thermos, disposable water bottles) that might pop out of the cage if bumped. But it's not really designed for such things.

Good sturdy bottle holder. I had other similar styles and brands in the last break. This is my second cage from this brand. My first lasted 3 years with no problems. I bought this second bottle cage to replace all the others that broke and I was trying to save money. You only buy this cage once.

Looks good and is light weight but the plastic is too hard so the bottle was difficult to insert and didn't slide all the way through. Trying to get the bottle out was more strenuous than other cages I have and it felt like the cage would break from the force of the bottle pulling. I ended up sending it back and getting something else.
