I will be returning this unit as I could not get it to make a sound that I could hear if my ear is not on the device would be. The control stick is so short that the visible is not visible in daylight and keeps the block almost under the torpedo from the engine compartment. If the sound worked I would probably give it a much higher rating. Without sound straight out of the box, I wouldn't trust their quality control (?).

I was looking forward to using my new leak detector. I put in new AAA batteries, nothing. I scanned the AC, nothing. Then I loosened the can with 34a and noticed a slight click, then I noticed faint streaks of light. My head had to be fairly close to the detector to hear it and it would help if it was at night and most of the ambient lights were off. I checked the AAA batteries and they were new.
