My rats love this hammock! One sleeps upstairs while the other two squeeze together downstairs. The edges have chipped a bit, but it's very strong and hangs well. The only difficulty is cleaning as the wooden arms are not removable. However, I hand wash them and put them in the sun and it usually lasts the rest of the day but is dry. I highly recommend it and plan on getting a second one.

Very soft and warm. Not very big at all. It says it will fit a ferret or rat comfortably. It definitely doesn't suit any of these animals. I have three rats of different ages and sizes. You use the tip to get through but that's about it. If I had a smaller animal this would be a wonderful product. It is durable and made of good material. Worth the price just wish they were bigger.

I have purchased hundreds of dollars of cute and colorful nests, shelters and hammocks for my Mylo rat. But he didn't use them (with all consequence) and instead chose to rip apart the liner of his cage. I finally gave up and bought this mustard colored bunk hammock. It's the ugliest color I've ever seen, but he just loves it. Ever since I put him down, he left his liners alone to sleep in his hammock. Mylo gives it a 10/10 and we will be buying another one.

I love this hammock! We have 3 rats (two of which are quite fat) and they will all climb into this hammock and sleep together. We have tried other hammocks in the past and they snapped within the first few days. We've had these hammocks for a few months now and the support poles are still holding up strong. I would like to add that the rats ate the bottom of the hammock but they turned it into a blanket when they crawled into their bag. If/when this one fails completely I will buy again.

My 2 rat pups LOVE to squeeze into this thing. It looks a bit small, but apparently it doesn't bother her. I taught him how to hang himself so they could sit on him and groom him. The hammock slips off the wooden pegs slightly, but not enough to reattach. I don't like wood in a cage because it collects urine and isn't easy to clean, but I have plenty of substitutes from bird cage accessories. trust that everything stays under their plump asses.

My 4 month old rat didn't want anything to do with this thing at first (he really liked his hammock) but after a few days he decided it was a fleece perch. .. fantastic. I like it because I can see him and he loves to sleep upstairs and in him. The only downside, and a small one at that, is that it takes a bit of coordination to attach it to the cage, which would be very difficult with a large cage. that it is not so easy to get there.
