I was skeptical about ordering an exhaust system from Amazon. but I'm so glad I did. That thing SOUNDS GREAT! VERY fleshy/guttural. If you're trying to get away from the standard sound, this is what you need. Very easy to install. Literally got in and gone. YOU MUST BUY THIS EXHAUST

I ordered the ones in the photo but got a completely different exhaust. If I hadn't really needed it at the time, it would have been sent back. The one I got sounds very quiet. I don't like her at all. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because it dangled straight without even having to bend it. This is the second exhaust I have received from Revain. both were rubbish.

This exhaust unit is horrible it took two days to remove parts then put back on then remove etc. The problem is that the center line of the exhaust units / distances between centers between the heater boxes and head assemblies are extremely crooked and require heat and thrashing to make any sort of connection. So far this is a great little device but only 3 stars for the following reasons: On my 1970 Beetle this seems to be a bit curved as you can see in the picture the driver's side fits great but the passenger side sits on top. 11/24/17 - Firstly, as my question could not be answered in advance and I took a chance with this exhaust, YES it works with a filter pump. You'll need to make sure your ring clamps are aligned so the hardware doesn't stick out on the filter to make room for your filter, but it will work. Installation can be tricky if your engine is in your car, mine was on a stand and made everything so much easier.
