The microwave makes great bacon!

A friend told us about this shelf and we bought it and we love it. The skewers broke and we only used wooden kebab skewers for a whole year (new every time, a giant pack in the supermarket is very cheap). In the end, the stand warped, either from the dishwasher or the microwave, or both, and we replaced it. So now we have a second bacon oven and we love it so far! We calculated the microwave cooking time to be 1 minute for each slice of bacon plus an additional minute. This gives us the super…

Bacon Wave changed my life!

The Bacon Wave has become one of my favorite kitchen gadgets. When I started the keto diet, I knew I was going to eat more bacon. I didn't want to fry the bacon every time I wanted to shred it for salad or breakfast. I saw a bacon wave on TV and decided to pull the trigger and I wasn't disappointed. My rule of thumb is one minute in the microwave per piece of bacon. I usually cook 2-3 at a time and then pack them in my containers to take to work. After about a year, the plastic sticks that hold

A convenient and easy way to whip up some bacon

We got our first one over 20 years ago. Used it all the time. Eventually some of the teeth broke off and we just wore them down. Or more specifically, we abused it enough that it made sense to replace it. So we got a replacement 11 months ago and threw the old one in the trash. The new one is gone! What a pain in the neck. Nobody in the family seems to have seen it! We've searched everywhere, but to no avail. I've read some reviews and the heck are you complaining about things? It's just great.

I HAVE ONE ELSE.

Too much work to make bacon. First, the panel is only 8 inches wide. And I've never seen bacon as small as 8 inches in a pack. My guess is that once cooked it will only be 5 or 6 inches long (nothing to brag about unless you're trying to sell miniature bacon). The illustration shows how to "bend" or "pivot" the bacon to fit. Well, you can only do this with the first few pieces before they get so stuffed in there that it starts looking like the bag you just took the bacon out of. So to finish…
