We got our first one over 20 years ago. Used it all the time. Eventually some of the teeth broke off and we just wore them down. Or more specifically, we abused it enough that it made sense to replace it. So we got a replacement 11 months ago and threw the old one in the trash. The new one is gone! What a pain in the neck. Too much work to make bacon. First, the panel is only 8 inches wide. And I've never seen bacon as small as 8 inches in a pack. My guess is that once cooked it will only be 5 or 6 inches long (nothing to brag about unless you're trying to sell miniature bacon). The illustration shows how to "bend" or "pivot" the bacon to fit.
