The Bacon Wave has become one of my favorite kitchen gadgets. When I started the keto diet, I knew I was going to eat more bacon. I didn't want to fry the bacon every time I wanted to shred it for salad or breakfast. I saw a bacon wave on TV and decided to pull the trigger and I wasn't disappointed. My rule of thumb is one minute in the microwave per piece of bacon. I usually cook 2-3 at a time and then pack them in my containers to take to work. After about a year, the plastic sticks that hold the bacon in place broke after too much use. Now I used wooden skewers to hold the bacon in place. I wash my bacon in the dishwasher every two weeks and it's holding up really well. One of the center supports broke off and a few others were out of place, but I think it's the dishwasher. I would happily buy another one of these!
