Ignition Coils are engineered for original equipment and replacement applications. Every component either matches or improves on the OE design to ensure fast and easy installation with superior performance and reliability. Designed and manufactured to operate reliably under all operating conditions and throughout the entire engine speed range for peak engine spark performance. Ignition Coils generate the spark for your vehicle's engine. However, ignition coils would fail due to age, overuse, or simply manufacture defects. A failing ignition coil may result in misfires, rough idle, reduced fuel efficiency, and the appearance of the check engine light. Therefore, it is important to replace your ignition coils as soon as your car starts showing these symptoms to improve the efficiency and drivability of your vehicle. You get what you pay for.

You can also order two sets instead of one, as they don't last long. After 2 weeks of driving (after installing all 4 new ones) there was a knock in the exhaust. Of course coil #3 fails. I like that I kept the good ones that I took out that were still good.

2008 Scion xD replacement

Fits exactly like OEM at a much lower price. So far 2 months and 2000 km without problems. There was an intermittent code p0354 which was indicative of the #4 ignition coil. Coils of #3 and #4 cylinders swapped then code p0353 came up. Even though I knew exactly which coil was defective, I bought this set of 4 and replaced them all. There was some red dust on all four old spools.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Excellent coils!: Ignition spares

I bought these coils a few months ago to replace a broken one on my Scion xD. They were easy to swap out and worked great. I recommend replacing all four (even if only one is defective) as they should work at the same level. These four packs were just what I needed to get my Toyota purring again. I highly recommend these reel spools.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Very expensive

fits like OEM! Swapped all 4 at once.

100% fit for 2009 Toyota Corolla S 1.8L. Fixed my misfire problem, fits like OEM! I replaced all 4 at once, not just the faulty one to make sure they were all fresh and replaced the boot plugs. Since a 4-pack is half the price of one from the dealer, even if one of these goes TU in a year, I still have 3 spares.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • old

Great quality and great price

I am a single female and after receiving suggestions from auto mechanics I decided to see if I could do this repair/maintenance myself. The price was right. I bought these four (4) at the same price as one (1) at my local auto parts store. They were packaged well and looked like they were store bought. By the way, I was able to change the ignition coils and spark plugs myself :) So far the car is running great. After several months of running the car, I will make an additional assessment.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Updates available

Quality part

My 2009 Toyota Corolla started to misfire. At 190,000 miles this is to be expected. These ignition coils fit my car perfectly and were incredibly easy to install. I was impressed with the build quality. Now the car is purring like a kitten and I hope for another 100,000 km or more! I compared them to those sold at my local auto parts store and I couldn't tell any difference. Well, there was one significant difference, and that was the price. The auto parts store wanted almost $300 for a set of…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not sure

Error code P0351 is no more!

Much cheaper than other ignition coils, I was a bit skeptical but bought it anyway. The original trouble code I got on my 2009 Toyota Corolla S was P0351, which indicates a problem with the ignition coil in cylinder one. Based on a youtube video I was watching I swapped the ignition coil in cylinder 1 for the ignition coil in cylinder 3 and then used the $20 OBD2 computer I got from Revain :) to do the clear error code. After driving a few miles the Check Engine light came on again and this…

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • can be retrofitted

After 1200 miles and 7 months one of them died.

Updated Review: So after 7 months and 1200 miles one of them died again. I didn't ask for a guarantee because the quality isn't very good. Instead I bought a set of 4 from a local store and it cost me 250. They also gave me a lifetime guarantee. What should I buy first. My suggestion would be wise if you buy from a local store otherwise you may suffer in the long run. -------- Previous Review: Last October one of my ignition coils wore out and I bought it at a local store for $81 and replaced…
