I hope you are smarter than me and read this before buying. Let me be as clear as possible. Skip this purchase. They say new and have a date of 12/2022, but the first two I've tried in smoke detectors gave a low battery alarm as soon as I installed them. They are rubbish, they came in a small box, unsealed, not new, DO NOT BUY THESE

I received my 8 pack in clear plastic. All marked "Not for Retail" and "Made in Malaysia".
