Did a good job tightening the slack when shifting. Not sure why some people experienced such strong vibration, I didn't feel any difference in stiffness.

Great replacement great product. Nice. Mk4s are getting old. It was a great replacement for my worn out rubber bushings. installation without problems; equipment was first class.

Very easy installation with hand tools which took me 20 minutes but has increased the vibration on the mk4 tdi to a completely unbearable level but the shifts are very smooth and the Vibration disappears after 1000 rpm

Great bushings but they are too stiff to attach as they shake the whole car at idle especially with the AC on. I bought the green RPM working bushings and they aren't as tough, but I still use the round bushing and fasteners from that kit.

Tightens shift feel and engine movement under acceleration. The bushing supplied is slightly different from the factory bushing on my VR6, allowing some clearance between the bolt and bushing. Ace Hardware had a seamless case that worked. It takes a vise or two grown men to press the poly wedges into the dog bone as it's a harder material (that's why we bought it, right?). A slight increase in vehicle vibration can be felt at idle.

My dealer was servicing a Golf 04 2.0 with automatic transmission, the engine had some play and although all the tires were in good condition no dry rot or cracks I went with this kit. Now, despite the ads and most other manufacturers only listing it for manual transmission models, this kit is a perfect match for my torque arm assembly. I went for a hybrid setup and used the body mount bushings on the back of the arm and kept the factory front bushing. I chose this to see if I would be happy…
