Thickness is about 9/16 inch assuming 1/2 inch can be assumed when compressed. My 2000 trans am rear springs were about 1/2" lower for my liking, I put them over the factory rubber isolator to add 1/2". I trimmed the edge but left just a little room on the edge to center the insulator within the factory insulator. I used tape to temporarily hold it in place prior to installation. It was a much cheaper and easier way to add coil springs by 1/2 inch without changing the spring rate.

Poly sleeves arrived as a pair and on expected arrival date. They were exactly what I needed for my aftermarket suspension.

Set this on 350z with aftermarket springs lowered to get an additional 1/2 inch. They drop the back a bit, although nothing particularly noticeable. The quality of the drive is more or less the same, didn't really notice much of a difference other than it's slipped a bit.
