I've used them in every vehicle I've owned for years, cars, trucks, motorcycles. Perfect OEM compatibility. I usually get 1-2mpg more from these filters. Most of the time you can also hear a clear intake rumble, which sounds very productive. To be honest I've never had to clean any of them. Yes, these filters may not really perform and may clog a little sooner in dusty conditions. I put them in my cars so I don't have to buy another air filter. I have reusable K&N engine filters installed in my other cars so after a recent visit to the dealer I was told I needed to change the engine air filter I figured it's time to just swap out the reusable filter and do it. The fit was perfect, installation was easy, the old filter was removed, the K&N put in and I was good to go. It took maybe 5-10 minutes.
