Five stars for coolant temp

Perfect coolant sensor replacement for my 2009 Mini Cooper. The intermittent operation of the cooling fan has stopped.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Fits

Works great in spares

Used on my 2010 Mini Cooper. It's been 2 months and everything works. I was skeptical because of the low price but decided it was worth a try as there wasn't much to lose. So far, so good.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Good but not great

Don't buy junk! on coolant temp

Installed on my '07 Cooper, my fans came on and wouldn't stop at all until I pulled the relay. The AutoZones brand did not suit me, save your nerves and money. Buy MINI OEM for things like that.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Everything is fine

000 km ago it seems to have gone wrong. Fingers crossed

This fits exactly on the 2010 MINI Cooper Base Coupé (1.6L NA). Seems to have solved the issues I was having with the coolant temp sensor randomly giving out a P0128 code. The sensor in the thermostat that was replaced about 30,000 miles ago appears to have failed. crossed fingers

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • A few little things

Correct part, fair price and prompt delivery

My husband installed this sensor in his Mini Cooper. I wasn't too difficult to install, and it solved the problem he was having with the car. He said he only found another one at a lower price but it would have taken a week for shipping. This part was received in just a few days. We would buy from this seller again.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Unreliable. good for sensors

Worked for a few months. Then the check engine light came on, the code was "Engine not warming up to operating temperature". It's going way too fast. I thought the thermostat was stuck open but the thermostat was replaced a little over a year ago. I spent almost a hundred to replace the thermostat. I decided to try replacing this sensor with an OEM sensor direct from Mini first, just in case. In fact, the engine is now running at the correct temperature and the engine warning light has gone…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Useless functions
