🚗 Engine Motor Mount Compatible with 2005-2011 Ford Focus 2.0L Auto & 2010-2013 Ford Transit Connect 2.0L A5495 5S4Z-6038CB Review

I bought this because my 2011 Ford Focus was shaking at idle when I turned on the part the shaking stopped completely and is still holding up

No problems installing. Fixed: There was no longer the horrible vibration that made the car feel like it was falling apart. I installed this on a 2008 Ford Focus and am very happy with it, it's been around 2 months with no problems.

The auto parts store wanted over $100 for it. Got this for less than $50. Pretty easy installation, just jack up the engine, loosen the bolts. It's a little difficult to fit into the 2011 AC Focus range. The problem of noise and vibration is solved. Car runs great now Parts and labor are probably $200 or more at the store.

Terrible quality. The black metal bracket dangles and makes noises. I had to ream the holes in the motor more as they were in the wrong place. I also had to grind down 1/4 inch of the aluminum on the motor as it will affect the timing case cover. Would never buy again. I'll see how long it really takes.

Item was perfect, just as described. Very happy with the price, the same part for someone was 3 times more expensive. The only thing I didn't like was the delivery. It was supposed to be delivered in 4 days but then got an email saying it was 2 weeks late despite saying they had the part. Was upset because I would have paid a higher price if the car had sat longer than expected. Must keep better records.

2005 Ford Focus ST 2.3L engine. Year of construction 6/2005. Bracket not suitable for this engine/year of construction. The hole for the black mounting flange is offset to the right as shown. For this model year/engine, the mounting hole must align with the two mounting holes on the engine. As mentioned, the black flange is loose fitting and has no grommets around the grommets that go through the aluminum post.

Brand Name, Typ. The company claims to be owned by Berkshire-Hathaway. Almost identical to the original bracket, easy to install without any modification. Loud vibrations resonating through the case were eliminated - the old rubber biscuit chipped off and metal-to-metal contact became possible. Costs more than most but probably worth the extra $20. For Transit Van: 1) Remove the 10mm bolt from the coolant reservoir. 2) Release the tab on the back of the case by prying off the plastic lip with a
