Lots of power for RPi 4

My RPi came without a power supply and I thought I could use the one I already had but it didn't provide enough power. This device includes a built-in switch, which is a nice feature. Great price for a great device.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Zero

Works great in computer components

There have been many reports in the press that one or the other power supply did not work with the RPi4. Well I can tell you this one works great. I've been using it with my RPi 4 for a few weeks now with no problems. That's really the best endorsement I can give, since it's a power supply, after all. It does what it's supposed to do, it delivers the power it needs specifically for the RPi 4 board. I would buy it again.

Pros
  • Complete Kit
Cons
  • No paint required

Doesn't deliver enough power

This will NOT work with Raspberry Pi 4. Just sitting on the desktop will give you "Low Voltage" warnings. This means that the power supply is not delivering the listed 5V at 3A. I've tried the Pi 4 running from my iPad charger at 5.2V at 2.4A and everything works with no low voltage warnings. This leads me to believe that the current draw of the Raspberry Pi 4 is making this power supply too large. Voltage drop and no longer delivers 5V, but a little less. I don't have anything to test what it…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Saves space on the extension cord.

I like that the pins on the plug are positioned so that the length of the power adapter is 90 degrees relative to the length of the extension cord so it fits without interfering with other outlets. I don't like The switch on the line does not have an LED to indicate that the device is on.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Blank

Works great with Pasberry Pi 4

After reading some reviews I bought several of these power supplies for Raspberry Pi 4. No problems after three months of use. Compared to other consumables in this price range, the performance, power button and cable are better. Depending on where you plug in, the "side" pin setup is great, doesn't tie up two outlets to the power adapter, and allows other devices to be plugged into a power strip.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • May damage
