High-Quality Envelope Trunk 📦 Cargo Net for Ford Fusion 2013-2020 Review

I would prefer the mesh to be just one layer just to have a soft edge to keep things from slipping. This is a 2 layer that creates a basket for things. useful but easily tangles when you need to detach it to lug around larger items. Still works great - not stretched or anything since I bought it over a year ago.

It's a little lighter than the nets I've had in the past but does the job. If it were a little heavier I would give five stars. In fact, it's so small that it fits in a very small plastic case. It fits my Ford Fusion perfectly and installs in about two minutes. I've only had it about a week so can't say how it will hold up over time, but fits three grocery bags easily.

I bought it hoping to put groceries in it so it doesn't hang around in the trunk. This works for small items, but I've found that when I put in large, slightly heavier items, such as a gallon of milk, they sometimes tend to overload the mesh and fall into the trunk area. this limits our use of the trunk net and we end up only packing small items in it. I wish the web was a little deeper to deal with situations like this.

The only real objection I have to this item is that it had clips at the bottom, when according to the standard bracket it should have loops on all four corners Most North American Fusions are noted here, I suspect this may be because the Mondeo (the Eurasian version of the Fusion sold in China) may have this configuration.
