This item most closely resembles a mesh hammock. I pulled it between the two loops that were already installed in the tailgate frame on my 2010 Nissan Xterra. So far it works great.

Bought for my 2012 Nissan Xterra. Although the mesh is the correct size, the clamps are not suitable for the application. They are too small for cargo net storage hooks, which is why some of them broke when first installed. Don't waste your money on this particular network.

I bought this item to fit in the trunk to prevent objects from falling out when the tailgate is opened. The item did not fit my truck like it should. The OEM D-rings on the xterra gen 2 are larger than the hooks that come with this net. The hooks are too small to catch on the rings. I redesigned the mesh with a few modifications to fit over the rear seats as a dog barrier.

This was a great purchase, when I bought the truck I quickly realized I needed something to keep my groceries and other purchases from sliding into the truck's open bed. It was easy to install, it has 4 loops, you just hang them on the top hooks on your truck and the bottom ones can be used with anchors in the ground, or I just hooked my cargo nets that are attached to my truck.
