Pleasantly surprised at the quality

I've bought biodegradable bags before but can't get them to stand up to lawn clippings. So much for trying to save the planet when I have to use 2-3 to survive. But not with these bags, they really did their job! Worth the money, will buy more.

Best I've found so far

They don't fall apart (but be careful with spikes or very sharp sticks). I'm glad they are big and can hold a lot of leaves for my cleaning. I hate using plastic so this is a good alternative. Maybe a little cheaper to encourage people to buy more and less of their plastic.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not bad

Eco friendly and good quality

I hate regular plastic garbage bags because they are bad for the environment. But I was afraid to stop using Hefty because it's very durable and I was afraid another brand would be phased out. I am very satisfied and pleasantly surprised about it. I'm glad to know that they decompose and don't stain the floor, and also do well with ordinary kitchen scraps.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not sure

These mason jars are ridiculously flimsy and almost useless if you plan to use them in your lawn or garden. The first liner I used tore into the hole when I pulled it over the rim of the trash can. They threw in some dry weeds and made holes inside. DO NOT recommend them for anything unless you want to bag stuffed animals.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Requires a power outlet

Surprisingly very durable!

That's awesome! I take them for our small office. I was nervous about some reviews as our junk tends to leak and is very heavy, but so far they've been stiffer than regular heavy duty black bags! Yes, I'm serious. We had 1 leak exactly where it should have been well 6-7. When I pick up a garbage bag and feel how heavy it is and know it has a lot of liquid in it, I always see a leak (fortunately, yes?), but I was very pleasantly surprised. I feel better about what we throw into the environment…

NOT compostable/biodegradable and requires no tying

Cons: Despite their description, these bags are NOT compostable/biodegradable! They are made from oil like all other bin liners! Minus 1.5 stars because I hate being lied to. Another point that I deducted 0.5 stars for is that these bags have NO way to tie them (making them difficult to close). For customers' convenience, they could easily include drawstrings or design drawstrings with a handle. On the other hand, these bags are MUCH stronger than regular trash bags. I haven't had a single…

Yes, but not biodegradable.

As another reviewer pointed out, these are not compostable bags. However, I have not been able to find any larger biodegradable bags. At least they WILL eventually be dismantled. It's still way better than plastic bags that take generations to decompose. Shame shame shame on the warehouse that put a large paper sticker on the crate RIGHT ABOVE the cutout for bag delivery from the crate (see image). But when I finally knocked out the slit, it was completely useless for distribution because the…

Pros
  • Box of 40 rolled 33 gallon 33 x 40 inch green bags
Cons
  • Not as thick as other bags

Serves the purpose - just what I was looking for

I try to choose sustainable products. And I was surprised how hard it was to find biodegradable garbage bags. Since we deal with so many of these things, and since making biodegradable plastic (from what I've read recently) isn't that difficult, why on earth are we still throwing so many millions of non-degradable bags with all our Trash away ? I bought them to line the trash can where I throw more biodegradable bags of dog poop. I just couldn't keep throwing out big plastic bags with new…
