DOES THE JOB for parts

I have used this type of air filter in my Mazda 5 for many years. It fits snugly and does a good job. I change every 12-15 thousand km. Don't forget to change the air filter and spray the mass air flow sensor, as this will prolong the life of your car and give you many kilometers of worry-free driving. Thank you for reading this review, I hope it makes a difference. ; )

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Non automatic

WARNING: SUIT CHALLENGES. WRONG LISTING Too high. .

WARNING: PREPARATION PROBLEMS. WRONG LISTING Too high. Too far. Much too long. This part appears regardless of which engine you have (and shouldn't!) have listed in your garage. When the box arrives a sticker will appear on it stating that it only fits F and G engines. The eighth digit of the Mazda VIN is the engine code. I have number 8. The list of this product appears when I park the car out of the garage. The product listing needs repairing and the engines for this vehicle must not be sold…

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • Ok

Be careful! Trust, but verify and verify!

In this case I would advise you to buy the FRAM, WIX, MOPAR or MOTORCRAFT filter specified for your car. See, it's nice when Revain puts some groceries in a box and saves you the headache of going to the store! However, MORE HEADACHES when you find out that the product delivered just doesn't match what the seller says (EP AUTO)! What I found was an EP car filter listed for a 2010 MAZDA 5 that mentions that the FRAM CA9898 is NOT the same size as the FRAM CA9898 or the OEM Mazda air filter! Upon

Pros
  • Top marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
