Used to place an iron on a shirt. not suitable for shirts because you need to mount shirts horizontally due to the layout of the plate. The time and temperature buttons are easy to use. Warming up takes 5 to 10 minutes. You will see the temperature slowly rising. The arm locks and unlocks easily, swings left and right quite a bit. Update: Less than a year later it broke! I finished ironing the shirt as I have done hundreds of times this year. I had to flip it over so I lifted the top of the press, tried to move the top to the side and the top of the press literally fell off with broken cables. I absolutely hate that I wasted my money and wish I had gone with a higher model. I've kept these abs at #1 most of the time I've owned them without moving them from place to place.
