Very simple, well-made product! Works much better than the plug I've used in the past. Just a note, I use the included dowel that goes into the hole in the handle to keep the unit at a comfortable angle during use.

After I got this I smeared it thickly with cutting board oil, left it for 24 hours, wiped it down and then waxed it with food safe tree wax. . I do this with every wooden kitchen item I receive and I feel it makes it easier to clean and less likely to crack, chip or discolour. Not sure if you should have oiled the board before using it but my pasta kept leaving this residue on the board. Leftovers make it difficult to roll into a perfect shape after a while, so you need to clean them up so they don't stick. Otherwise it's pretty easy to use.
