Poor software, suitable for document scanners

Unlike Scansnap, which V. Poor tech support says has been replaced, this scanner cannot scan and display what has just been scanned. You need to find the file in the assigned folder and click on the folder you want to open. Otherwise, it works great when you have time to take a few extra steps to see what you just scanned.

Bad software is the best in scanners and accessories

Unlike the Scansnap, which according to V. will be replaced. Poor tech support, this scanner cannot scan and only displays scanned images. Good no frills ADF scanner

Receipts: I lift the paper release lever to manually feed the carrier sheet. My "carrier sheet" is the bottom few inches of a zippered freezer bag. I align my "carrier sheet" so that it is narrow left to right and reaches the top of the input tray. If I notice static I use my breath on and in the bag. The result is zero traffic.
