PRINTER ONLY. Honest review - I was fooled.

This printer was good at first, but now it's really bad. Here are my biggest complaints! 1. If one of the color cartridges is empty (most likely cyan) then this makes the printer USABLE. Doesn't scan, prints black, nothing! He becomes useless. The printer now prints blank pages in black and white. I thought the ink needed refilling. reloaded but no, print BLANK PAGES. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK PRINTER

Pros
  • hands-free mode
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

In service for over 4 years!

Well I loved it! Eventually it died. It wasn't the best with photos, but I have to say it's held up pretty well. I see I bought it in January 2013. So it took 4 years and 4 months. Not bad for a printer. In the end, the Wi-Fi LED and the Power LED just kept blinking and the control panel was blank. I contacted Epson to see if they could help and one guy suggested I plug it into a different outlet and try again. Hm? "He wasn't connected to WiFi," the post reads. Although it worked yesterday. OK.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Frequency

Stay away from Epson products - buyers beware!

This is one of the worst things I have ever bought. After purchasing this printer, I had trouble connecting it to my network. I called Epson support several times and it took at least an hour. The first tech support rep told me it was because I had too many devices connected, the next time I called it was a problem with my modem, then my computer, then my router, then my network provider. I've never had any problems connecting other devices I own to my computer. Since then I've changed allโ€ฆ

Very incompatible for printer and accessories

I have owned this printer for almost 2 years and it has had its ups and downs. First, the wireless connection works great and I can use Airprint from all my Apple devices without any additional setup. If you use this printer all the time, it works well but consumes a lot of ink. The main problem I had with this printer is that unless you print all the time, like a few pages a day, the printer is very inconsistent. . I use this for general home use and may go days or weeks without typingโ€ฆ

Be sure to avoid: Inkjet printers

This is a terrible product and Epson Support either doesn't respond or doesn't care. 2) Each time you clean the printheads, some of the ink from all cartridges is wasted. If you've ever only printed black and white documents, you would still run out of color ink on this printer. 3) When a color cartridge is empty, you cannot print the document even if that color is not used. For example, my yellow cartridge is "empty" right now, so I can't print a black and white text document. And theโ€ฆ

The printer is perfect. best inkjet printer

I've wanted this printer for a long time. Ever since I heard about low cost ink printers. Unfortunately, they have been out of my price range for a long time. Needing a printer and giving up hope of ever getting one, I started searching Amazon. Then I stopped and had to look twice. This price was affordable, and not only did the printer have cheap ink, it had all the features I needed! Failed again, I looked in disbelief at the tracking info which told me it wouldn't reach me until Septemberโ€ฆ

Pros
  • very good value for money
Cons
  • the list will be long.

DO NOT USE REFILLED INK CARTRIDGES.

A year ago I would have given this place 4 stars. Now I would give one star. Here's why: - There were connection problems from the start. It connects perfectly to the wireless network in our house, but it must have very low latency because I have to reconnect it to the wifi between each print job, even if it was just a few minutes. It's so tedious to manually re-enter the WiFi password every few minutes. - ink. It soaks up ink so quickly that I feel I should have a supply of Epson ink. I wasโ€ฆ

Everything works as advertised, clunky scanner software

I downloaded and installed the drivers from the Epson product page and then connected this printer using a USB cable from my old printer. Once set up, everything worked flawlessly and my MacBook Pro was able to find and print to this printer with no problem. I don't print much so I haven't used a lot of ink so far. Paper feeding, printing, etc. work exactly as expected. The only time I had the hiccups was when I tried to print something while the printer was idle: the computer sent a print jobโ€ฆ

OK Printer - WLAN does not work - Too bad! - UPDATED

I'm an impatient guy. I expected to plug this thing in, add the MAC address to my router's MAC address filter list, and imagine Wi-Fi would work and life would be great. The WiFi connection light is on (on the printer), the printer connects to my router and gets an IP address from DHCP. It's okay, really? nope! I get various connection errors from the Epson software when trying to install the printer and print. It doesn't seem to recognize that the printer is connected and has an IP addressโ€ฆ
