I needed to replace the old light bulbs in our cooker hood. They are nice and bright, go well with the lamp and at a good price. Not sure how long they will last, I've been disappointed with some LED lights in the past.

Claimed to be 16W and brighter than standard 10-12W (equivalent to 100W) LED bulbs. However, I've compared it to one and it's definitely not that bright. I think it's probably around 800-1000 lumens and it's overpriced on the list.

I love these lamps, the best I've seen. It would light up a dark room to the point where I think these bulbs would light up a room painted black. I'm not sure many people notice the color of a high sodium lightbulb when it's on and giving off that bright purple-white color. If I worked for a company that made these corn bulbs, I would make one or two of these plastic bulbs for myself with a purple-blue tint so that the bulb emits a purple-blue color of daylight because I like that color .
