Amazing grips are best for sports

I love these grips. I have struggled with wrist pain while cycling for years. Ergo GP1 was the ticket! Installation is similar to any other grip, some air out of the magazine and the old grips slipped and the new ones slipped. Take a few quick rides, adjust the angle and tighten the locking ring and you're done. These grips are also comfortable for those who don't experience wrist pain. We have them on 3 of our mountain bikes and everyone in the family loves the comfort.

Great grips! Best in Sport

Installed them on a comfort bike my son chose. I remember how comfortable they were and how they seemed to take care of the numbness I use when holding my hands on long rides. So I decided to add them to my current hybrid bike when the tingling started. Once again they've provided that tingle and are very comfortable on long distance rides (15-25 miles). I use the large and x-large in bike and racquetball gloves, but the small are perfect for these grips.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Safety

Incredibly comfortable handles

They have helped me a lot with my Brompton (2019 Edition). The grips fit perfectly - no need to trim or adjust the GP1 - and are incredibly comfortable. If I had one complaint, it would be the caps on the ends of the bar: even after knocking them off with a rubber mallet, I can't keep the caps in place (they stay, but rattle and move). ). I don't care though - apparently a lot of people use the GP1 without the end caps.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Something different

Well made but not perfect

They're really well made, they've survived this summer in the Texas heat and sun just fine. That's more than I can say for the previous two grips I bought. However, the ergonomic factor remains to be seen. My wrists hurt more from long rides with them than with my normal handlebars. I tried three different angles and different hand positions. I'll switch back, but I'll definitely keep them in hand. I am sure that with this build quality they will last a long time.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Has helped with pain and numbness. Didn't bother when mountain biking.

I've always had problems with pain and numbness in my hands when mountain biking. I've tried different gloves and they didn't seem to make much of a difference, in fact I know I'm riding with very thin gloves. I installed them right before my trip to Moab. They greatly increased the comfort for my hands, I only experienced a slight numbness during one ride. I'm not sure if I adjusted them correctly, I'm still working on them, but they've already made a big impact. In addition, they did not…

LARGE LARGE SMALL LARGE

NICE ERGONOMIC HANDLE AND GOOD FEELING BUT I FIRST ORDERED THE SIZE AND IT WAS TOO BIG, I SENT IT BACK AND ORDERED SMALL. THE SMALL WAS TOO BIG. THE GRIPS HAVE AN ADJUSTABLE SCREW AT THE GRIP END THAT CONTRIBUTES LITTLE OR NO ADJUSTABILITY. THE SELLER GIVES YOU MEASUREMENTS IN MM AND I AM BORN AND LIVE IN THE USA AND I MEASURE IN INCHES AND I AM TOO OLD TO LEARN THE EUROMETRIC SYSTEM. MY BIKE IS A 2012 TREK FX9 WITH CARBON FRAME AND HANDLEBARS AND I HAVE APPLIED LOCTITE (GLUE) TO THE GRIPS AND…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Almost never

I have replaced the aging grips on my bike with something more modern. They fit well and are similar to those I've used in the past. These handles have another useful function as they allow you to use the built-in mirror without cutting off the handles. Just remove the middle hole before installation and bam. mirror hole. Everyone loves a mirror hole! I had an issue with a missing set screw for one of the knobs. I contacted Ergon and they sent me two new screws. Normally I would have complained

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • compatibility
