Description of Enhance Your Cycling Comfort with Ergon GP4 Ergonomic Lock-on Bicycle Handlebar Grips - Full Size Bar End Support, Regular Compatibility, Two Sizes - Black/Gray

THE ORIGINAL: The GP Grip Series is the original ergonomic “winged grip” design that started a comfort revolution for cyclists using flat style handlebars. TOTAL COMFORT: GP4 grips eliminate hand pain, numb fingers, sore wrists and forearms. Unique grip shape reduces pressure, relieving the ulnar nerve while supporting the hand and wrist in an ergonomically ideal position. CUSTOM FIT: The bar end and grip angle can be adjusted independently for a custom fit and are easily readjusted as needed. The bar end functions as the grip clamp to eliminate twisting once tightened. (Not for use with carbon bars). PURE MATERIALS: GP4 grips are made from 100% German, TÜV-certified rubber compounds for improved flexibility and durability. Bar end is made from a reinforced composite with rubber inserts. WARRANTY: Limited 2-Year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Ergonomic Ergonomic design suitable for sports

These grips are a clear winner for me, especially on rides longer than 2 hours. Was on the threshold between this and GP3. I have no regrets going for the larger GP4s which allow for a wider range of hand positions.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Expandable

Comfort and safety in the grips

Flat grip surfaces provide comfort and soft rubber provides a secure grip. The ends of the handlebar offer a "different" position for your hands than regular straight bars. Also easy to install. These are great pens and well worth the price.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

Excellent grips. I'm new to horseback riding but there is.

Excellent pens. I'm new to horseback riding but have ridden enough to know that the old round rubber grips weren't good for long rides. They provide excellent wrist support and offer the rider multiple alternative hand positions even during long rides. Totally relieved wrist fatigue / tingling in wrists and elbows. Very easy to install. Would buy again.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Damaged

Easy installation / My wrist says "Thank you " after a long ride / No pain!

So far I've only fitted the right side as it's the wrist I have the most trouble with and I have to ride with the handlebars when I don't need to shift gears I am currently looking for a left wing mirror before installing this side. It is made of very high-quality plastic and you can customize it to suit your driving style.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Don't really like it's ok

Great grip, worth every penny for relieving pressure on my wrists

These grips are exactly what the doctor ordered. Easy to install and takes a lot of strain off my wrists. And because there's no leather or rubber covering, the grips won't rotate toward you when pressure is applied. Note, however, that you cannot mount a mirror on the end of a handlebar with the vertical part facing up, as the grip will get in the way. Either place a mirror under the steering wheel or get a mirror that attaches to the outside of the steering wheel.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
