Good steak knife, priced a little high

This is a good quality knife, but not a great quality knife. It has a 5-inch full serrated blade and a handle that is about 4 inches long. It is a full tang German steel blade with a polypropylene handle. The blade is just thin enough to be slightly flexible and just thick enough to make it feel like a quality knife, not too heavy, not too light. It is sharp enough to slice through a steak without tearing the meat the way some cheaper knives will. The problem I have with this is twofold. First…

Pros
  • Sharp and flexible.Perfect balance and a great value for your money.Highly recommend
Cons
  • The knife is prone to rusting over time

Smaller handle, great for chopping through softer foods

I got this to replace my regular chef knife. When I got this I noticed that the handle was small/skinny, but I have small hands so it worked out! Its comfortable to chop, and I havent gotten any blisters or anything from using it. I dont eat meat so I chop mostly fruits and vegetables. Right out of the box it worked great for cutting through softer foods (onions, tomatoes, etc.) but it didn't chop harder foods straight (carrots, beets, etc.) I'm going to sharpen it and see if it helps chop…

Pros
  • Nice !
Cons
  • The non-slip handle does not provide a comfortable grip

Not even sharp in my review

I bought this to be able to work with fish - the edge of the knife is dull from the moment I opened the package. I'm really disappointed - it just sort of moves the fish around. Don't buy this knife if you want to cut through fillets like butter.

Pros
  • Great knife and a very good price... used it to filet fish, make the job very easy. highly recommended
Cons
  • The blade is not very flexible, making it difficult for precision cuts

This knife is the perfect utility knife for everyday use. Very comfortable fitting in the hand & Sharp. Strongly recommended.

Pros
  • love this knife, stays sharp after several runs through the sharpener!
Cons
  • The blade dulls quickly and requires frequent sharpening

Sharp! Great quality

Been using this knife for a few month - it is great. The blade is sharp, and handle is comfortable. It is a really nice quality knife - has nice weight to it. I feel like real chef when using this knife. Great value.

Pros
  • 14.57 x 1.18 x 3.54 inches
Cons
  • The knife edge is prone to chipping

Smallish handle - good value for price

This is a decent kitchen knife. It's not a great knife. but for the price (currently at $27.99), it's a food value. It has a hardness rating of 57 r and itll hold an edge. The biggest problem I have with it is the smallish handle. Maybe it's my larger hands, but it doesnt feel "substantial" nor ergonomically balanced. instead, it just feels small.

Pros
  • Kitchen Knives & Accessories
Cons
  • The blade does not retain its sharpness for very long
