Exactly what I needed!

This is exactly what I needed as after starting my tank I wanted to go to the sump and didn't want to drill. Seems to be very good. I bought this along with my ESHOPPS RS-75 range. I had to caulk the bulkhead's "drain" with the flexible drain that came with my sump as it wasn't completely watertight. Next to. A+

Works perfectly! for fish and aquatic animals

I ordered this smaller unit for my 60 gallon aquarium after returning the unit with two hoses that were one size larger. It arrived within 2 days and I installed it soon after. I was a little put off that no hose was included but I knew I was going to buy so can't bother the seller. So far this has worked great for my tank and the fish have been happy!

While the design seems to work, mine is broken.

Although the design works, my outer box broke to keep the water from lingering in the smaller chamber and hence the siphon flows out after the pump stops. Apparently it wasn't glued properly or was slightly damaged in transit and is supposed to hold the siphon. I haven't heard from Eshops customer service for many days, so I'm forced to write a review here until I get a replacement.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Useless features

Has been working for about 3 months without any problems. It's pretty noisy to begin with, but I like modifying things and I found the Durso to be easy enough to make and install. I used braided flexible tubing which I glued directly to the bulkhead. Can't complain, it keeps the siphon alive when the power goes out and I check it every other day when I feed my corals/fish. It just works.

Pros
  • Inspires trust
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Used on a JBJ Nano 28 Intermediate Works great but noisy

Easy to set up and run the siphon. It works well, there have not been any failures on the siphon part yet. It's very loud, I know people said it was loud, but man I didn't know how loud. The woman thought the tank was leaking badly. I know there's a DYI on You Tube on how to turn it down or reduce the noise, so I might have to try that. I put this on a medium JBJ Nano 28 so I can use a large swamp/refuge. However, part of the skimmer will not fit, but I did not need it. Place the U-tube in the…

Great product for this money.

This overflow does exactly what it is supposed to do. I had an issue with bubbles collecting in the U-tube from where the water went into the overflow box and into the U-tube, but that may be because my tank may have a higher flow rate. It also makes a lot of noise in the downspout. However, both problems can be fixed with a minor modification. I put a sponge in the overflow box to slow the water down a bit before it enters the U-tube (no more bubbles) and added an extra piece of PVC to the…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • There are nuances

Didn't live up to expectations

I bought this 50g display box with 20g bowl I wanted 300gph for maximum flow and ordered Quiet One 2200 for return. It hasn't arrived yet, so I picked up the Rio 2100 for temporary use, which flows almost perfectly at a head of 4ft (300gph). The box had no issues with the 2100 Wide Open Flow so I have little doubt it can do around 300gph. The overflow box itself works, though I can't say it works particularly well. The teeth are very large, the problem is twofold. First, it creates a lot of air

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
