Using this product I have found that you really need to saturate the band and grip. This makes it easier to put the grip on the racket shaft. This isn't a problem if you use a bowl to catch the excess and then simply pour the excess solution back into the bottle when you've used up the entire intercept batch. This volume of solution is enough for at least 30-40 rackets.

I don't know if it has to do with tape or solvent, but I've never had to use as much force as I have with this one. I used another tape, got a little better, but still not very good. In general, if the inside of the handle and the strap are sufficiently lubricated with solvent, the handle will slide very easily. Definitely something different. I used Winn Dry Tec grips which I have used before with no problems.

Adhesive tape does not stick. I've rebuilt many racquets in my life, but I've never seen such a bad band. Twice the tape got tangled under my new grips when I was putting them on. Then I couldn't get the grip off, so I wasted two new $11 grips that I had to cut off. On the remaining handles I glued the remnants of tape (different company) that lay 2 years and it worked perfectly.

First, the double sided tape is horrible and starts sticking right away. a lot of force to lower the grip. I'm pretty sure the setting chemical is diluted with water (I'll have to use lighter fluid instead). Even if I'm wrong, this is the worst garbage ever. I can usually change 10 grips in about 30-45 minutes, so I don't have the stamina or 20 minutes for just one grip. Terrible!

I started using this thing and I was like, "dude, what does this remind me of? Smells familiar. It took a few minutes but I finally figured out that it smells and feels like GooGone, that orange stuff you use to get rid of duct tape residue etc. Not sure if it's the same, but next time I'll try GooGone first. much cheaper! Gave 4 stars because I'm not sure if it has a secret sauce that GG doesn't have. Anyway it works. If you're having trouble getting a grip, it means you're not using enough.

The kit is exactly as advertised. This made it easier to re-grip my clubs. A trick I learned from a friend is to insert a golf tee into the end of the handlebar. This works like a cork, so you can pour some solvent into the handle and shake it so all internal surfaces are liberally coated, then pour the excess back into the bottle.
