Great set but no tweezers

This is great for beginners who have no soldering experience, it is explained very well in the instructions that come with it. You can use headphones with it and the sound quality is excellent. But I checked everything again and there were no tweezers! This made it extremely difficult to solder very small resistors and capacitors. That being said I would highly recommend this kit and I want my tweezers

Fascinating project with SMT components and through holes.

I bought this unit as an educational project for adult students. The surface mount pads have been pre-tinned with lead-free solder. Great if you use that. Not great if you use lead solder, which my company does. It was still a fun project for them and has a good amount of SMT parts as well as a few through holes. The instructions were clearly written by someone with ESL barriers, but they were still clear and didn't interfere with the build process.

An interesting project for practicing skills. Be sure to read the instructions. There are additional components so make sure you use the correct capacitors. Large capacitors are µF and small capacitors are nF. The inductor is a black square with very small contact pads on the bottom. Be sure to cut 4-5 inch sections of the black and red wire from the battery box before soldering the battery box wires. The instructions state that before soldering the speaker you must solder the battery…
