Probably the best headlight cam that doesn't require a paid subscription.

I think this is a great headlight camera that doesn't require a paid subscription for such a price. When unpacking, I immediately noticed the weight and the quality. Very heavy compared to the $170 Fiet floodlight camera sold at Costco. Installation was easy with the bracket and screws. The light is actually pre-wired with a 3-wire cable in case there is an outlet nearby. Since the headlight is heavy, I recommend asking another person to hold the light while connecting the wires. Works well depending on where you place it.

This spotlight camera may or may not work depending on where you place it. It didn't work for me. Installing a spotlight seems easy, but I just hired a professional to do it because I don't want to mess up the wiring around the house. The only problem is that for some reason the camera grip turned out to be very tight that it takes a lot of strength to turn it. I may need to use a vise if I want to adjust the camera. Good product but needs some modifications and upgrades.

Good product. Excellent image quality and fairly stable. However, there are a few shortcomings that Eufy should try to fix. If you turn off the camera, the motion detection function of the light will also turn off and the light will not turn on when motion is detected. Light motion detection should be independent of the camera. Many times I wanted the recording to be off but the light worked with motion but it doesn't.2. Should make it compatible with homebase.3. Unfortunately still the best non-subscription Floodlight camera option

This review looks at the general pros and cons of this camera, as well as the differences between its 1st and 2nd generation. PROS: 1. Setting up to connect to the Eufy app was easier than the first gen, the first gen was pretty straightforward, they just made it a bit slimmer.
