I liked the design. The squirrels crush the rubber and destroy it on the first night. Unless you live in a squirrel-free area, don't buy this.

Great design but totally non-functional. When you buy, be prepared for a huge mess. The food is too heavy on the floor to stay in the glass tube and spills everywhere.

I really wanted to like this. I have had several other Eva Solo feeders (unfortunately the squirrel came with the last one). The problem isn't the strength - it can easily hold a lot of birdseed BUT the birdseed gets sticky and the gum gets sticky. clogged. Birds usually avoid this. I may try to take it to another location or try another birdseed but so far I remain disappointed.

As the title suggests. DO NOT purchase any feeder that uses plastic or silicone as a base or support. If you have birds that eat seeds from it? You probably have proteins too. and proteins will destroy this thing and render it useless.
