Does what it's supposed to: deter thieves from stealing your wheels, saddle and possibly your bike. Install quickly. Reasonable price.

I replaced my quick releases with these and they work great. Although I wish there weren't teeth on the other end of the skewer, it looks tempting.

Exactly as advertised and delivered quickly. While nothing is 100% theft proof, we hope these locking skewers will at least deter theft and slow any attempt.

4 stars for the weight as it is light but not as light as the quick release. 4 star for security with hex key unlocking. Would have been 5 stars if it was a torx screw as it is less common. Overall excellent value for money!

The bolts have a 5-point wrench that prevents using a regular hex wrench to loosen the bolts. This is great and the casual thief will give up. I haven't seen a way to use the rear axle bolt. It is much smaller in diameter than the original. This is shown in the picture. I would appreciate advice on this. I bought these based on the listed size 100/135mm thinking I could adapt the rear pivot to my bike which needs 150mm. Turns out the skewer is actually 133mm in the front and 169mm in the rear, which is perfect for my Specialized Sirrus. But as some others note, the included nuts are knurled and round, making them easy to grip and turn with pliers or a vise. weaken the whole.
