Nice grill set! - Wheels and accessories

Does what it's supposed to: deter thieves from stealing your wheels, saddle and possibly your bike. Install quickly. Reasonable price.

Just what I needed - Cycling

I replaced my quick releases with these and they work great. Although I wish there weren't teeth on the other end of the skewer, it looks tempting.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Damaged

Wheel and seat locking skewers

Exactly as advertised and delivered quickly. While nothing is 100% theft proof, we hope these locking skewers will at least deter theft and slow any attempt.

Easy installation! for cycling

4 stars for the weight as it is light but not as light as the quick release. 4 star for security with hex key unlocking. Would have been 5 stars if it was a torx screw as it is less common. Overall excellent value for money!

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • poorly thought out

5-point wrench for wheels and accessories

The bolts have a 5-point wrench that prevents using a regular hex wrench to loosen the bolts. This is great and the casual thief will give up. I haven't seen a way to use the rear axle bolt. It is much smaller in diameter than the original. This is shown in the picture. I would appreciate advice on this. It would be nice to find a quick lock that attaches to the frame with these screws so I can just turn the key and the hook will secure the frame to the post or post. If they cannot remove the…

Easy to assemble, good for cycling

My son rode his bike back to uni. While it's handy for maintenance, I didn't want a "quick release (QR) of everything" if he were to park the thing on campus where people seem to be grabbing something just because it's easy to remove. There's nothing special about his bike, but riding your bike home after someone knocked over your seat isn't fun at all. He remembers to take it off and carry it with him EVERY TIME. it probably won't happen. I replaced the QR connectors on his seatpost and front…

Wrong size given. Nuts prone

I bought these based on the listed size 100/135mm thinking I could adapt the rear pivot to my bike which needs 150mm. Turns out the skewer is actually 133mm in the front and 169mm in the rear, which is perfect for my Specialized Sirrus. But as some others note, the included nuts are knurled and round, making them easy to grip and turn with pliers or a vise. weaken the whole. I used the original nuts from my bike which are tapered and would be harder to grip. Finally, the seatpost bolt was the…
