Don't waste your money

These are 20 cutting blades, tips. We bought 2 of these for our shop. They didn't even last a month. Today we used a different brand, made 27 cuts in a 1/2" round stick and can't even tell for sure. Invest in a better blade, it will pay off.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Great Blade on Blades

I needed a blade for my miter saw that could handle a lot of nails, this helped. I estimate I've already cut 150-200 nails in Oak 2x4 and the blade is still cutting them. I estimate I will be using these blades at a rate of 1 blade for every 45-50 days.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Functionality

Blades Cut Steel - Blades

It's amazing how this saw cuts steel. It's amazing, but you can keep the old blades while you use them and organize a quality cut. They burn out quickly and if you need to cut rebar you can use an old blade and save the new blades for cleaner cuts.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Not as thick as other cutters

Cuts through all specified materials.

For the most part I no longer have to change blades. Cuts steel angles and copper like a master. Softwood is really good, but for pressure cutting, you can't beat a piranha blade designed for pressure cutting. Make sure you have a blade adapter, this blade has a 1" hole.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Zero

Suitable for aluminum but not steel

Cuts lightweight aluminum very effectively. However, after making a few cuts in the 1.5" x 1/8" steel flat bars, the blade shot through and mostly pierced through the steel. I ended up spending a lot more on the blade than the steel he sawed. If you need to cut steel, ditch that blade and buy a manual band saw. You save money in the long run.

Pros
  • Tough finish
Cons
  • Not for everyone

Does a decent job (better than expected) for edging (non-abrasive).

He shrinks for a while and then suddenly decides he's had enough. There doesn't seem to be much carbide on the teeth, but it does a pretty good job sawing with the blade (non-abrasive). Example: I made 10 cross cuts at 1/4" x 2.5" + about 40 cuts through 3/8" rebar to allow the blade to do its job without too much downward pressure, and it was toast. To be honest I was surprised he got through what I gave.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Negative experience

There are 20 cutting blades

Cutting 2" 11 gauge square pipe I made 25 cuts and basically burned through the last 4 cuts. I liked the price of this product and asked if it was me, me ordered another blade the second time the feed rate and stiffness was carefully observed and after 20 cuts the same problem the blade was removed now I was questioning the heavier gauge steel I'm cutting and had to get 16 and 20 gauge -Cut steel.Price I ordered 2 more blades cutting an angled iron square tube and after about 20 cuts the blades

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Easy maintainability

not the best in blades

I bought 2 of these blades. In the first case, I thought maybe I cut steel that was too thick and ruined the blade. So I bought a second blade and only cut 1/8 inch steel or less. Both blades only lasted 10-12 cuts before the carbide tips were thrown away so the blades are junk I can't even cut wood without burning. per year out of each blade if I spend $30 on an evolution blade for my evolution saw I only get a few weeks of 10-12 cuts so this blade is only great value starting at $60 for 2โ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Reliability
